Only to your comfort level. Some clients choose to fully undress, while others prefer to leave on underwear — it’s entirely up to you. You will always be properly draped to maintain your privacy throughout the entire session.
Massage shouldn’t be painful. Some techniques may involve deeper pressure on tight areas, which can create mild discomfort — but it should never feel overwhelming. Just let us know if you’d like lighter or firmer pressure. Communication is key to your comfort!
You might experience mild soreness, especially after deeper work or if it’s your first session. Think of it like post-workout soreness — it’s completely normal and should ease within 24–48 hours. Drinking plenty of water and gentle movement can help.
Massage helps release tension and improves circulation, which can mobilize built-up waste products in your muscles. Staying hydrated supports your body’s natural detox process and helps prevent soreness after your session.
Nope! Some clients enjoy quiet time, while others feel more relaxed with a bit of conversation. Whatever feels best for you is perfectly fine — this time is all about you.
At Hands In Balance, we provide a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment. We work with all bodies, all shapes, and all people. Your comfort and well-being always come first.
We’re here to answer them. Contact us here or give us a call — we’d love to hear from you.
